The Challenge

Force India needed a way of being able to store enormous amounts of data made from Formula One cars with ease of expansion for Data growth.

In an industry as competitive and complex as Formula One the need for reliable, accessible and secure storage is paramount.

Thank you for your excellent work in getting the storage in and configured - it is good to see such a good level of enthusiasm to get the job done well and so professionally as well.

Adrian Collinson, IT Manager, Force India F1

The Solution

CIS and its technology partner Infortrend provided an easy to expand storage system that encompassed advanced data protection features to provide high availability of Force India’s data.
CIS was conscious that the solution needed to be comprehensive and ahead of the standard offerings and needed to meet a specific price point.

The team demands that costs be kept to the absolute minimum, since every penny saved can be spent on
further development of their Formula 1 racing cars.

CIS installed a server, network storage (SAN) and backup solution using the latest fibre technology. It provides Force India with the flexible date storage they require, within the restraints of fixed budgets and with no large ongoing licencing or maintenance costs.
