CIS Achieves ISO 27001 Certification

CIS is pleased to announce achievement of ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification for Information Security Management. By achieving this internationally recognised certification, CIS has demonstrated its commitment to data protection and information security management.

This is a direct response to the needs of CIS customers; reaffirming its commitment to security and data protection in an ever-evolving environment and forming part of CIS’ long term vision for security best practice.

Dan Hadland, Technical Manager commented: “Attaining the ISO Certification provides our customers with the comfort that CIS can secure and protect information throughout the organisation and our private cloud infrastructure.”

ISO 27001 is one of the most widely recognised and internationally accepted information security standards. It identifies requirements for a comprehensive Information Security Management System (ISMS), and defines how organisations should manage and handle information in a secure manner, including appropriate security controls.

Neill Lawson-Smith, Founder and Managing Director, commented: “By securing the ISO 27001:2013 certification, we are validating our ongoing commitment to vigorous security practices and risk management. By benchmarking our policies and procedures against this internationally recognised Information Security Standard, our customers can be assured of the resilience and data protection CIS can offer.”

Attaining the ISO Certification provides our customers with the comfort that CIS can secure and protect information throughout the organisation and our private cloud infrastructure
