Backup & Recovery

Onsite & Offsite Backup

Ensure the availability of data and services for your business.

With IT services as critical to an organisation as electricity and running water it is imperative that data and applications are available to users when they need them.

A considered backup system of an organisation’s data and IT services must be considered of paramount importance to ensure that when something goes wrong recovery is as quick and seamless as possible to mitigate the negative impact a prolonged outage of IT services will have.

Powered by Veeam software, CIS provides a comprehensive suite of products to provide a multitude of availability solutions, tailored to an organisation’s individual needs.

CIS will work through an organisation’s IT assets and take into consideration the criticality of an application, server, or endpoint to that organisation and provide a recommendation on the best way to protect it. A Recovery Point Objective (RPO) and Recovery Time Objective (RTO) is employed to minimise business damage and downtime.

CIS provides both onsite and offsite backup solutions and typically recommends an organisation considers both as part of a comprehensive data protection regime. Depending on the RPO and RTO an organisation needs to achieve CIS will either recommend our Backup-as-a-Service or Replication-as-a-Service offering to ensure application and data availability is provided to an organisation within their availability needs.

Why CIS?

CIS have over 30 years of supplying IT and electronic systems – right from the nuts and bolts to sophisticated servers, networks, software, and IT infrastructure.

We understand how to dig into what is possible and ensure that the best possible cover is made with what is already available and recommend upgrades if there are areas of weakness.

We get IT – fundamentally at the basic level. But we also understand business, management, and the need for modern approaches to reduce risk and potential fines, costs and reputational damage from not securing the electronic business assets of a company.
