Neill Lawson-Smith Founder & Managing Director
Background & Experience

As the founder of CIS, Neill is our Managing Director. He brings a distinguished IT background having gained BSc (Hons) in IT Information Systems and Business in 1989, he offers over 30 years of IT consultancy experience to the company.

As a Fellow of the British Computer Society, Microsoft Certified System Engineer and Chartered Engineer status, including the Chartered IT Professional qualification, Neill has all of the skills and experience that are vital in the development of strategic IT plans through to full and effective implementation.
Neill offers a host of ideas and solutions for companies ranging from the smallest start-ups and fledgling firms through to multi-national corporations.

Despite successfully completing IT projects for larger organisations, such as Argos, British Airways, Sony Entertainment Europe and London’s prestigious Reform Club and St Paul’s Cathedral, Neill’s main focus remains in developing innovative, cost effective and reliable IT strategies for SME enterprises with between 10 and 250 employees.
Neill is married with four children and in his leisure time enjoys classical music, steam railway locomotives and keep fit.

Matt Grantham Operations Manager
Background & Experience

Matt is the Operations Manager at CIS and after more than six years with the company, has an unrivalled knowledge and familiarity with our clients’ sites, systems and methods of working.

A specialist in MS Exchange, electronic mail, virtualisation and Cloud solutions, Matt’s often to be found leading the team’s work on some of the company’s most major projects.

He’s noted for his ability to design and develop solutions which incorporate a fundamental understanding of the needs and requirements of individual users, line managers and senior management.

Daniel Hadland Technical Manager
Background & Experience

Dan joined the CIS team in October 2013 having previously worked for Hewlett Packard and other local Oxfordshire businesses.

A self-professed geek, Dan enjoys all aspects of IT but specialises in networking and virtualisation. An alumni of the University of Portsmouth he graduated with a 1st in Computer Network Management and Design in 2010 and has been delivering bespoke IT solutions ever since.

Dan is continuing his IT education with CIS and is looking forward to achieving Microsoft and Sophos qualifications in the near future.

Ashley Baker Finance Controller
Background & Experience

Ashley is another member of staff who transferred over to CIS from Bridge3 in Hereford.

He provides much needed support to Larraine with accounts and billing, whilst also looking after our ordering, quotes and renewals.
